It’s true that Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will lock horns once again. But this time it will be in a charity basketball match. After generating the richest bout ever in boxing history in 2015, the duo seems to have lined up a financial blockbuster again, but for social-welfare causes.

The news caused a widespread reaction from fight fans when it broke out a few months back. However, nothing has been heard since then. Well, ‘TBE’ Floyd Mayweather has finally revealed every important detail about the event. In the presser of Gervonta Davis vs Isaac Cruz, Mayweather said-

“I got a big enough jet to take team out there. We are taking some guys out there. The thing is the rules is, we got some former NBA players, a couple A-1 player. So, it’s going to be interesting.”

‘Pac-Man’ hasn’t talked much about it yet. He is extremely focused on his political career at the time. But on the right stage, we can expect him to dive into the scenario. Well, Mayweather has also revealed the potential timeline and venue at which we can see the former boxing foes collide.

Floyd Mayweather reveals Month and Venue for the basketball match against Manny Pacquiao

Prior to talking about the possible rules and team sides, Mayweather revealed the time and venue of his basketball duel with Manny Pacquiao. He said, “Me and [Manny] Pacquiao actually, then we are gonna play basketball in the Philippines. That’s coming up soon.”

“I think January. So we will play a little bit, a little bit of basketball. You already know what I got. So, you know.”

Back in 2015, Mayweather and Pacquiao locked horns in an interesting scrap dubbed ‘Fight of The Century’. The bout lived up to the hype and went the distance. Although fans saw it as Money’s toughest test on paper, Mayweather retained his unbeaten streak and went 48-0.
