The heightened visibility and potential risks associated with fame do require one to protect their physical well-being. Mike Tyson gives a bold response to security advice

In a recent video, Tyson talks with business mogul Grant Cardone about a potential business partnership. In the video, Cardone gives a tour of his office to the former champion and meets his security guard in the process. However, he then went on advise Tyson on hiring a larger bodyguard. “you know you got to have a big security guy around,” he said. Tyson would agree with Cardone but revealed a better alternative for personal safety according to him. “Never fails. Having a gun is even safer,” said Tyson.

Tyson’s inclination towards personal firearms introduces an unconventional perspective in place of traditional methods. Moreover, given his altercations, especially the incident on the JetBlue plane last year, Tyson certainly wants to be extra cautious.

What unfolded during Mike Tyson’s chaotic encounter on the JetBlue plane?

During a JetBlue flight, Tyson found himself entangled in a heated confrontation with a passenger. The passenger’s name was Melvin George Townsend III, who was incessantly heckling the former champion in the plane.

Following this, Tyson repeatedly punched Townsend, resulting in the latter sustaining visible injuries. However, as details emerged and witness testimonies were gathered, it became clear that this chaotic encounter was not one-sided.

Given the circumstances and evidence presented, legal authorities made the decision to dismiss the case against Tyson. The incident on the JetBlue plane serves as a stark reminder of the challenges faced by public figures. The pressures of fame and the constant scrutiny from the public can create an environment where tensions run high. Moreover, sometimes these tensions can culminate into altercations like the one on the JetBlue plane.
