Amir Khan is one of those fighters that has been on the receiving end of major flak. From his fights to his opinions and now even the support he shows to younger fighters, Khan has always been on the receiving end of scrutiny. However, as he still stands tall as a boxing enthusiast, his opinions have gone on to make history. The recent rematch between Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Smith was an event wherein Khan not only was in attendance, but the legendary boxer came out of the arena making big headlines.
First things first, the fighter embraced his long rival Kell Brooke at ringside. The fighters for major chunks of their career showed immense hostility toward each other. Now, they seem to have put their differences behind them. Water under the bridge, perhaps? This was the first time the fighters came face-to-face after their fight last year. Second, it was Khan’s statements that he made on Chris Eubank Jr. The latter won his rematch against Smith in a 10th-round knockout. However, his statements were not received kindly by folks.

Legitimizing Ebunk Jr.’s efforts, a user said that the latter looked impressive in both fights except for the fact that he got “caught” in the first fight against Smith.
But he shouldn’t of proven wrong. In the first fight he was winning till he got caught. The second fight was the same but he didn’t get caught. I knew how it was going to go so why could you not see if your a boxing expert?

Further, a fan rightly mentioned that Eubank Jr. did not have anything to prove to start with. The fighter has time and again proven his worth in the boxing realm by defeating big fighters like James DeGale and Liam Williams.
