The undercard for AJ vs Dillian will be a thrilling prelude
Anthony Joshua’s bout against Dillian Whyte is a pricey ask for PPV. To justify the price point, the promoters have included a befitting undercard to the fight. Eddie Hearn earlier tried to get a fight for Fabio Wardley, but he later confirmed that the British fighter will be in the ring sometime in September.

First up in the undercard is Filip Hrgovic, against Aussie southpaw, Demsey McKean. This will be followed by Johnny Fisher against Harry Armstrong for a vacant Southern Area title. Lastly, the Heavyweight battle will also see the infamous Derek Chisora but his opponent is yet to be ascertained. Commenting on this line, Hearn said, “We want to make as many heavyweight fights as we can, and two very different heavyweight fights added as the first announce for the card. First, the fight that has massive implications on the world heavyweight scene. The mandatory challenger for the world title, Filip Hrgovic, fighting Australia’s Demsey McKean. Demsey’s got a massive chance to just steal that mandatory position.”
