In his latest interview, speaking about Ryan Garcia‘s return to the ring following his latest loss to Gervonta Davis, De La Hoya stated the need for a win. In his view, with a win beside, everyone forgets about the loss.You’re only as good as your last fight,” he said. However, according to De La Hoya, staying humble is equally important as winning. Thus, taking to Twitter, the 50-year-old promoter wrote, “Remember to always stay humble because you never know when you’re gonna lose.

After the tweet, a fan who met De La Hya replied with a photo. “Meeting you inspired me, Oscar! Keep doing you!” they said. Undoubtedly, De La Hoya took notice of the photo of him with his fan. As a result, he responded saying, “Bad a**, let’s go!!!!

Meanwhile, a user asked if De La Hoya was still roasting people. To which the former unified Super Welterweight champion replied by saying, “I’m roasting a**h*les“.
