Matchmakers have delayed Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley matchup for 24 hours and the fight will now happen on August 29 at the former’s hometown Cleveland. While this doesn’t reflect many changes to the Showtime event, Paul would have his close ones in attendance and it can refuel his will to add another big win in his 3-0 record.

Although former UFC champion Tyron Woodley has vowed to write off his rival in the ring, Paul has claimed to stop ‘The Chosen One’. After the official announcement of the new date, ‘The Problem Child’ took to Twitter and re-shed his opinion on the upcoming fight against Tyron Woodley.

Jake Paul wrote, “I can’t believe I get to fight in my hometown Cleveland. August 29 Tyron Woodley is getting knocked out in front of my closest friends and family.”

Despite the sheer confidence, Paul cannot afford to overlook Tyron Woodley’s chances in a fight. The 5X UFC world champion had dominated his division for a long time, feeding several opponents to the canvas. Although ‘T-Wood’ has never competed in a pro boxing bout, his fighting experience can still give him an edge against Jake Paul.

According to the reports of ESPN, the fight will take place at the Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland. So, it’s obvious that ‘The Problem Child’ would garner support from the live audience. However, a defeat would be equally fatal for him. The upcoming fight cites a must-win situation for both men, so it also intensifies the collision for all the right reasons.

That said, he was spotted training beside Floyd Mayweather a few weeks back. Woodley has competed against several reputed fighters throughout his career and Paul might be the easiest name on the list. So defeat can be even harder to grasp for the former MMA world champion.

Jake Paul hasn’t faced a single pro boxer as of now. So, it would be unfair to claim that he has expertise in the true essence of pro boxing. The first two wins of his career came against a fellow YouTuber and a retired basketball player. But the third win saw Jake Paul KO former MMA champion, Ben Askren. Although Askren was never an elite striker, the win helped him earn the first serious fight of Paul’s career against Woodley. Hence, it is actually a career-defining turn for him now.
