Who can forget Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk going back and forth as the talks of them engaging in one of the most highly anticipated bouts went on? Boxing fans and experts alike all looked forward to the event. However, soon, the negotiations fell apart after both boxers couldn’t come to an agreement. Usyk then decided to turn his focus towards another opponent. This left Fury, who claimed to have more pull among the two, without any worthy adversary to lay his gloves on.
In what can only be described as a desperate attempt to find a potential opponent, Fury recently called out Anthony Joshua, Oleksandr Usyk and even criticized Andy Ruiz Jr. for asking too high a price. However, it seems that Fury may have someone lined up for his next fight, and he can finally return to the ring for the first time this year. The last time he stepped into the ring, it was against Derek Chisora in their 3rd bout.
Fury wants a tune-up fight before he faces Usyk possibly this December. His opponent will probably be Demsey McKean, someone who has an unbeaten record to boast about. Moreover, McKlean is a southpaw like Usyk, according to the claims made by the British boxer. Micheal Benson, the boxing journalist, shared the news on Twitter and fans weren’t too pleased with the ‘Gypsy King’.

Avoiding Usyk?: Fans accuse Fury of ducking the challenge
“Tyson Fury has now confirmed that Demsey McKean is a “frontrunner” for his potential next fight in Australia: “McKean’s a top ten heavyweight and definitely one of the frontrunners. If the Oleksandr Usyk fight is happening it’d be great preparation because he’s southpaw also,” Benson reported.
This news has sent shockwaves through the boxing community, igniting a wave of reactions from devoted fans around the world.
One fan, The Tories Out seemed really frustrated at Fury for constantly changing his mind about potential opponents. He claimed Fury only wants to do an event in Australia so that he can ‘get a bigger venue’.
Last week he was calling Usyk out for Wembley. Yesterday it was McKean. Today it was Opetaia. 10 seconds later McKean. @Tyson_Fury running off to Australia, because these fights would be O2 territory. He will claim it's a special event for Aussies to get a bigger venue. 🤣

Another fan, PJ Bennett took a jab at Fury and claimed that he is just avoiding Usyk.
Anything to avoid Usyk 🤦🤣

Early Stoppage MMA called out Fury for fighting below his levels and only having a proper fight once in a while. He claimed that “It’s a shame because he is the most skilled HW. He just refuses to prove it.”
I’m glad people are finally noticing Fury’s tactics. Why is the apparent “best in the world” in constant need of tune up fights? His whole career has been fight 10 cans, then have a proper fight, repeat. It’s a shame because he is the most skilled HW. He just refuses to prove it.

Moreover, Eren called “southpaw” reason “nonsense”. He claimed that Fury just said it as he wants to add legitimacy to the fight.
And there it is..the "Southpaw" nonsense to give this fight the validity it needs so people won't ask why he's fighting a nobody again 🤦🏻♂️
