Mike Tyson Says Logan Paul’s ‘Little Punches’ Hurt Floyd Mayweather

Floyd Mayweather arguably had the worst bout of his fighting career against a 6’2” tall Logan Paul, which lasted till the final bell and ended in a draw. Luckily, it was an exhibition and didn’t affect Mayweather’s unscratched 50-0 record. However, it put a dent in his inevitable image, and former heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson, felt ‘Money’ got hurt.
Speaking about the differences in the weight, Tyson commented on how Paul’s deadly punches were camouflaged as jabs. Although they didn’t seem devastating, Tyson claimed to have seen Mayweather get hurt.
“Floyd stopped, but listen those little punches that he [Logan Paul] and Floyd [shared], I know they hurt. They don’t look like they hurt, but they hurt. Because he [Paul] is 50 pounds heavier,” said Mike Tyson.

The fight might have been a reality check for ‘TBE’ himself, who is now 44-years-old. While he had claimed that he would appear in several exhibition fights this year, a draw against Logan Paul could have changed his opinion. After the fight, Mayweather hesitated to approve his future in the sport. But a lucrative payday can bring him back any day.

Despite a below-average performance against a YouTuber turned prize fighter, Mayweather earned over $100 million in one night. It was a massive boost to his already massive net worth. So, all things considered, Floyd Mayweather had a pretty successful fight against Logan Paul, which might have ended his fighting career now.
