Mike Tyson lived a life one can only think of. Back in his prime, Tyson used to be in the news for his boxing performances, as well as some unexpected anecdotes outside the ring. Right from his childhood, Tyson’s life was far from normal. He was jailed many times before Tyson even entered the boxing vertical.

On Shannon Sharpe’s ‘Club Shay Shay’ show, ‘Iron’ Mike gave honest notions on his problems with the prison guards.

He said, “Well listen, I didn’t believe I need to be there and I’m not gonna let any guard disrespect me.”

“If he’s in authoritative position, he would just say, you have to leave. Or you have to do that. He’ll say, get the hell out of here, don’t move your a**. He doesn’t say that”

In total, Mike Tyson was arrested 38 times before turning 13. His life, however, changed when Tyson laced up the boxing gloves and met Cus D’Amato. Post that, his only aim was to conquer the heavyweight division. Tyson annihilated his opponents and reached the peak in no time.

At just 20, he became the youngest heavyweight champion in the world.

Mike Tyson went to jail again in 1992

After getting convicted in a case, Mike Tyson was sentenced to 6-year imprisonment with 4-year probation. But in 1995, he got released after serving less than 3 years of his sentence.

Post that, he continued his boxing career, but his run was full of trials after his time in prison.

In 2005, Tyson finally signed off from pro-boxing. His career-ending fights weren’t decorative, but Tyson undoubtedly left an impact in the sport.
