The Caleb Plant–Jermall Charlo ‘slapgate’ did receive the attention it wanted during the Terence Crawford–Errol Spence Jr. weigh-in. The reason for ‘Sweethands’ to lunge at the ‘Hitman’ remains ambiguous. Many criticized the WBC Middleweight champion for staying passive, waiting for security to intervene. Hence, he caught heavy flak for his conduct at the T Mobile Arena on fight night—followers who saw the short clip disapproved of how he treated the security detail when they questioned him.
Fans couldn’t digest Jermall Charlo’s disorderly actions as he came with his entourage. When the security at the ringside entrance stopped him, the undefeated champion just shoved in, and the rest of the gang soon followed. The confusion over the guards’ faces was apparent. There has been an outpouring of comments since the post came out yesterday.

This is not done, Mr. Jermall Charlo; fans hammer
One of the first responses, tongue-in-cheek, came from the following user, who derided the boxer for acting tough and pushing an elderly lady.
Pushes an old woman. That lion is tough.

Silva also condemned Jermall Charlo for acting aggressively with the security guards, who were merely doing their jobs. But when Caleb Plant slapped him, he couldn’t muster enough courage to respond.
No reason for him to act like that with the security just doing their job smh but when he gets slapped tf up by Plant he wasn’t acting tough like that 🤣

Criticizing the antics of the privileged, Taylor highlighted Jermall Charlo’s disservice to the security personnel. Their presence prevented people without authority from contacting and harassing celebrities like him. He should have let them perform their duties.
Entitled. He’d be very glad security was stopping people who wanted to interview or take pictures with him that didn’t belong. Let people do their jobs.

SCK1970 jeered at the boxing champion’s illusions of greatness. Citing the example of Moses and the parting of the sea, Jermall Charlo probably expected the security detail to just let him in without any questions. The truth could be that they may not know anything about him. That must have given the ‘Hitman’ the idea to make a fool of himself.
Delusions of grandeur. He thought they’d part like the seas did for Moses. Truth is, they’d not a clue who he was, so he thought the best course of action would be to make a tit of himself.

Amidst reports of a comeback, talks of a fight against Canelo Alvarez got cracking. However, as it turned out, his twin brother, Jermell Charlo, would be doing the honors on September 30. In a way, the fight is unique since it pits two undisputed champions against one another. The duo will fight for the Mexican champion’s titles at 168 pounds.
