The defining moment of the fight came barely a minute into the second round when Mason stunned Gurment with a powerful left hand, propelling him into a corner. Gurment, off-balance and using the ropes for support, experienced the first knockdown. Undeterred, Gurment continued, but Mason’s relentless assault continued. At 1:29 in the second round, referee Dock stepped in to wave off the fight, sealing Mason’s impressive triumph. After watching this fight, Ryan Garcia went on the X app and stated that Mason might as well be the new face of boxing.
