Over the past couple of years, celebrities across multiple verticals took up the ring space to fulfill their boxing aspirations. In that list, strongman Hafthor Bjornsson too ranks as an elite, who’s keen on taking up more boxing bouts. But will he face some problems with his giant frame? The heavyweight king, Tyson Fury, feels so.
Recently, Fury and Bjornsson met each other, wherein they spoke about their physiques and more life junctures.
In this interaction, the British heavyweight warned Bjornsson about having excessive muscles in boxing. He said, “You’re carrying a lot of muscle mass. If you’re in a boxing fight, if you see Anthony Joshua, he gases out quick.”

Fury took a subtle dig at his rival compatriot, Joshua, while giving the Icelandic strongman some exuberant boxing lessons.
‘AJ’, for now, holds one of the most stellar physiques in the big division. He also got some notable success with his frame, because Joshua is able to generate impeccable power to batter his adversaries. However, everything doesn’t go well with having such a colossal shape.
In his last fight, Joshua got schooled by the Ukrainian boxer, Oleksandr Usyk. ‘The Cat’ relied on some swift movements throughout the fight. With this, he successfully got out of Joshua’s radar, making him a bit tired by the final bell.

That said, Tyson Fury, in his above statement, addressed the akin juncture. Also, citing Joshua’s approach towards the game with his big shape, ‘The Gypsy King’ ended up giving his candid notion to Bjornsson.
Should Hafthor Bjornsson get down to Anthony Joshua’s weight or below?
Bjornsson, without a doubt, is the bigger man, when compared to ‘AJ’. But there’s no clarity on his exact weight.

On the other hand, Joshua, in his last fight against Usyk, weighed in at 240-pounds.
That said, if Bjornsson really has to compete at an elite level, he’ll have to go ahead with Fury’s advice. But since he’s only taking up exhibition fights, for now, it might not be ideal for him to cut down a tremendous amount of weight.
