Who will Jorge Masvidal face next?

Despite experiencing a resurgence in his career after his iconic KO over Ben Askren, Masvidal has seemingly taken a hit. The ‘Gamebred’ has lost his last three bouts, losing two fights to the former UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman, and recently got trumped by his bitter rival, Colby Covington, back in March. He has not competed in a bout since then, citing nagging injuries as the problem.

However, there are several opponents he could face, if he were to return. A fight against former title challenger, Gilbert Burns, can be on the table as he revealed his interest in taking on Masvidal. Moreover, with Usman losing his title to Leon Edwards, a trilogy fight between the two for the number one contender could also be in the books.
