Vasyl Lomachenko is currently preparing for his December 11 showdown against Richard Commey at the Madison Square Garden. This fight is very important for Lomachenko as a win will further his case for a title shot.
The newly crowned unified lightweight champion George Kambosos Jr. is next on his hit list. With Teofimo Lopez out of the picture for a rematch, Lomachenko is the perfect next opponent for Kambosos Jr.
Per Michael Benson, Lomachenko said: “Undisputed world champion, this is my motivation. Of course, I want this [George Kambosos Jr] fight, but first of all I have a fight on Dec 11th and my focus is on this fight. After this fight, I can talk about my future.”
