After branding Shakur Stevenson arrogant, Ryan Garcia recently announced he would beat up the former if they ever fought. According to Garcia, Shakur has been annoying him ever since they were amateurs. As a result,’KingRy’ feels it is now time for the duo to settle their score inside the boxing ring.

In this context, Stevenson took to X and welcomed the Garcia fight. Although it has barely been two weeks since his last fight, Stevenson is willing to face Garcia next.

Following the unimpressive win against Edwin De Los Santos, promoter Bob Arum claimed Shakur Stevenson fought with an injured shoulder and after “visiting doctors” only “weeks before the fight.” At this, while boxing fans may expect Shakur to take some time off to heal, the current WBC Lightweight title holder recently announced he would face Ryan Garcia next if only the latter was daring enough!

After Ryan Garcia recently told Brian Custer that he would “whoop his [Shakur’s] a**” since arrogant” Stevenson annoyed ‘him, the fighter from Newark called Garcia out in public. “We could fight next weak a** ni**a @RyanGarcia I’m gone stand in front of u all night long I promise,” he wrote on X.

In this connection, on being asked if Shakur desired to face Garcia at 140 lbs, the former answered the bout could happen at a catchweight or at 135 lbs.

We could do a catch weight or he can come to 35 if he want to finally become a world champion lol,” Shakur added sarcastically. While Shakur is open to fighting Garcia next, it is worth mentioning that the latter feels Stevenson would be “running” away from him if the duo stepped inside the ring.
