“Why Did He Scream Like That”: Jake Paul Trying To Hype Up Audience During Andre August Fight Weigh-In Draws The Ire From Fans

The days have become hours, and soon Jake Paul will enter the ring for the third time this year. Caribe Royale Orlando will see an 8-round clash between Paul and his opponent, Andre August. Ahead of the fight, both fighters underwent the ceremonial weigh-ins. While the event was as per its usual business, Jake Paul hit the final nail of promotions for the event by yelling out in an attempt to hype up those in attendance.

While Paul’s opponent, August is relatively unknown in the elite leagues, the fight as per the former will be a tough one given the experience August brings to the table. To his favor, and in response to the 12-bout 10-win record of August, Paul brings 8 fights with 7 wins. In April this year, ‘Problem Child’ registered his career’s first loss against British fighter, Tommy Fury. Six months later, in his second fight, he redeemed himself by winning against Nate Diaz via UD. Now, with a lesser-familiar face as his opponent, he has left no stone unturned in reaching fans. In his latest attempt, he let out a roar.

Jake Paul seeks attention, roars at weigh-in

A night before the big event came, the weigh-ins took place in Orlando. While Paul did the ceremonial deed as per the books, he let out a roar that fans have things to say about. As per the video, the fighter weighs 199.4 pounds for the clash. A proud Paul yells, “You like that!?” Posting the video on his Instagram, he wrote, “See you Tomorrow Orlando. #1DAY “.

One fan was not impressed by Paul’s tactics. They wrote, “My brother screamed super loud, like he’s stuck in puberty or something!” However, another fan understood the call and reciprocated. They commented, “I’ll be there brother!!! Let’s get after it.” Then came a fan who seemed unbothered, and probably did not know of the fight. They said, “Didn’t even know there was a fight”

A fan was just confused about the screaming. They retorted, “wtf that scream” Another fan had similar feelings. They commented, “Why did he scream like that” While Paul might have managed to grab the attention of the audience with his scream, his opponent is someone who believes in actions rather than words.

Andre August is “all about that action!”

In contrast to Problem Child’s loud antics, August seemed more composed at the event. Explaining his personality around the calmness, the fighter said, “I don’t talk very much, I’m all about that action!” While comparing the clout and money Paul has in abundance, he further added, “Jake Paul has the money, the fame, the team, and the resources but he doesn’t have my hunger. When that bell rings, I am going to go straight to Jake Paul and ring his bell and send him back to YouTube for good.”
