Ryan Garcia is all set to move on from his devastating loss against Gervonta Davis. In order to get back to winning ways, he has set his eyes on his next potential opponent, and it is going to be none other than Rolly Romero. But all hell broke loose, when Garcia’s promoter, Oscar De La Hoya posted a picture with his possible opponent. This obviously enraged a lot of boxing fans, as even before this, De La Hoya’s absence during the Davis-Garcia post-match conference angered many in the boxing fraternity.

Later, in a social media post, De La Hoya confessed that he couldn’t attend the conference because he had been getting a lot of death threats that week. And his security team advised him to stay away from public gatherings. Still, many fans criticized De La Hoya for not being there for his fighter.

And now, after Ryan Garcia has announced that he wants to take up Romero as his next opponent and redeem the loss of Ismael Barroso, De La Hoya has tweeted a photo with Rolly Romero with the caption, “My man supporting Goldenboy unlike other fighters.” And this particular caption and photo received a lot of angry reactions from fans.
