“You’ll Have Problems”: Mike Tyson Publicly Warns His Daughter About This Habit

Kamaru Usman recently made his appearance on Mike Tyson‘s podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson where they talked on several topics, including his last loss against his arch nemesis, Leon Edwards. And they also pondered upon many boxing topics as well. Usman even touched on an incident from his personal life in front of Mike Tyson. He talked about his daughter and Tyson could resonate with him as he could think of a similar situation he’s been in with his daughter as well. Tyson even revealed the warning he usually gives his daughter because of her one single habit.

Usman even shared his thoughts on the anticipated Welterweight division boxing fight between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence Jr. He showed support for Crawford, as Mike Tyson gave a grim reality check to Terence Crawford. After a few minutes, Usman started talking about his daughter and even touched on the subject of his parenting style.

The UFC fighter was talking about his daughter and how she’s a talented tennis player at such a young age. But she still needs to be more competitive and lacks that passion currently. Although, she’s very competitive with him and she shares a unique quirk about her.

He said, “With me, she won’t let me walk by her and just bump her, I can’t. I can’t walk by her and accidentally bump her, she has to get the last hit.

Mike Tyson could relate to this on a whole other level. He  said, “Oh my daughter’s the same, we gotta fight.” And then he reveals the warning he usually has to give her because of this habit of hers. He said, “I said you’ll have problems getting a man, if you wanna fight. No one marries a woman who wants to fight constantly.

After this, Usman also talked about he doesn’t want to scream and shout at his daughter. So that he could teach her something, instead he wants to observe more as a father.

Talking more about his kids, Tyson said that he’d never want his children to go through the same things he did, and he doesn’t say anything harsh to his kids ever. Usman nodded in agreement and stated that he loves the process of being a father and that’s why he wants his kids to find their path at their own pace.
