The UFC welterweight contender, Jorge Masvidal, has been a polarizing figure on social media. The former title challenger often shares and reacts to various topics on the sports of boxing, and MMA, thereby causing a lot of stir among his fans. Moreover, Masvidal was a known street fighter, who made it into the big leagues for his performances on the street fighting circuit in Miami.

Therefore it was no surprise, when fans called out the Gamebred for reacting to a street fighter making waves on social media. The fighter is known as ‘The next Tyson Fury,’ and a video of him knocking out the street fighter, Black Teeth Tommy, went viral. Masvidal reacted to the post by praising the young fighter. “Some people are born to fight! This man is one of them,” he wrote in the caption.
However, the fans were quick to call out Masvidal for his outlandish claims, as they reacted to him comparing a street fighter to one of the best heavyweight boxers ever.
Fans get upset as Jorge Masvidal praises a street fighter
One fan pointed out that no one except, Masvidal thought that he would be the next Tyson Fury. “Nobody calls him the next Tyson Fury,” he wrote. Another fan hilariously stated that showing the same video of him fighting doesn’t make his record go 54-0, despite claims that this was his record. “Showing the same vid 54 times doesn’t make it 54-0,” he wrote.

Moreover, another fan took shots at Masvidal claiming that this was the reason why aliens would not reach out. He wrote, “This is why the aliens won’t reach out.” Another fan stated that he couldn’t see Fury kicking the head of someone, when he was down like the street fighter did. “Couldn’t see Tyson kicking someone in the head when he was out,” he commented. Lastly, one fan claimed that the fighter didn’t had any technique and landed his shots with pure luck. He commented, “No technique at all and just random connects through luck.”

While the street fighter might have potential in Masvidal’s eyes, many felt that comparing him to the likes of Tyson Fury was far-fetched.
