The Denver Nuggets took home the NBA title for the first time in their franchise history in 2023. Nikola Jokic and his men put forward a dominant performance throughout the season and claimed the well-deserved title. Riding on the tradition, the team celebrated the ring distribution ceremony on their first home game. Everyone on the team received the ring on that day, except for a veteran player. However, weeks after the ceremony, the ex-player got his hands on the ring with an exclusive ceremony only for him.
The Nuggets played the season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers at home. The repeat of the 2023 Western Conference Finals. Before the tip-off, the defending champions walked into the arena for the glittering ring distribution and witnessed the champion banner lifted up to the rafters. Ex Nuggets star finally received his ring

It was 37-year-old veteran baller Jeff Green who had an exclusive ceremony to receive the ring. Following the championship year, Green moved to the Houston Rockets in his free agency. So the star’s ring ceremony was planned out during the Rocket’s visit to the Nuggets’ home.
Nikola Jokic hilariously refused to give the ring to Green when a reporter asked him about the exclusive event at a press conference.

Ahead of the Friday night game at Ball Arena, the Nuggets organized the special event for Green, surrounded by the cheers of the rousing audience. A wholesome moment followed the event as the veteran’s ex-teammates swarmed him and celebrated the ring along with him.
