NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal always wanted to be one of the most dominant players ever. His desire to be dominant on the hardwood started from a very young age while he was playing high school basketball. This also helped the center rack up points in the league. Notably, O’Neal is on the top-10 list of All-Time scorers. Despite this, he recently rued his poor free throw numbers while comparing himself to the All-Time leading scorer. Interestingly, it is neither LeBron James nor Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
Notably, James made history when he broke Abdul-Jabbar’s All-Time scoring record last season. However, there is still an international players who clears the King by thousands of points.

It was Shaquille O’Neal who gave the platform to one of the best scorers ever, Oscar Schmidt. Notably, Schmidt has scored a whopping 49,737 points in his career and it apparently makes him the All-Time career leader.
The Los Angeles Lakers legend shared an image of the top-10 All-Time scorers with the hilarious caption, “dam if i was a good at free throws i would be oscar schmidt. dam i’m terrible whyyyyyyyyyyyyy.”

Notably, Schmidt took the first spot followed by LeBron James in second and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in third. Shaq held the 10th place.

Schmidt was one of the best international players ever who dominated his opponents for Brazil. Furthermore, he was a force to be reckoned with at the club level as well. Over the course of his career, Schmidt has played for multiple clubs in Brazil, Spain, and Italy.
As per Interbasket, he is reportedly the unofficial All-Time leading scorer with 49,703 points with appearances for both club and country.
Interestingly, the Brazilian was part of the iconic 1984 draft class which had the likes of Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley, and so forth.
