The Colorado Buffaloes beat Colorado State 43-35 yesterday. Interestingly, in the buildup to the game, rival head coach Jay Norvell had insulted Coach Prime and his dressing sense. However, following their comeback victory, Sanders addressed the media. Deion stood at the center of the room, with the camera focused on him. Along with his mother, Prime Time was also joined by Dwayne Johnson. The Rock was among the various celebrities who attended the highly anticipated matchup in person.
During the post-game session, Deion Sanders touched base on the recent jab by Norvell. Sanders stated that by insulting the way he was raised, Norvell indirectly took a jab at Sanders’ mother. This was something that would not play well with the 56-year-old.

Onlookers cheered and even Johnson started to applaud. “I also told him to always be yourself. If you have to kick a*s, KICK A*S!” The last statement made by Sanders’ mother made the crowd wild, with cheers booming from every corner of the room.

“I don’t care if they hear this in Boulder. I told them (ESPN) ‘I took my hat off, and I took my glasses off.’ And I said, ‘When I talk to grown-ups, I take my hat and my glasses off. That’s what my mother taught me,’” said Norvell during his weekly radio show.
From the looks of it, however, it seemed like it was Sanders who had the last laugh in the end. Not only did the sales of his iconic sunglasses line rose, he won the game and called out his opponent with his mother and The Rock by his side.
