Raw after Money in the Bank saw the return of Brock Lesnar after a month of absence from WWE TV. The WWE Universe was waiting on Lesnar to make a surprise entrance at Cody Rhodes vs Dominik Mysterio‘s match. Even reports claimed ‘The Beast Incarnate’ was to return at Money in the Bank. But that didn’t happen.
However, recently a fresh piece of news has made its way to social media stating that WWE never planned for Lesnar’s return at the Money in the Bank event, which implies that John Cena never had any hand in his absence in the PLE. He was to return on 07/03 Raw after the PLE at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, which he did.

The founder of Ringsidenews, Steve Carrier, recently revealed via a tweet that WWE’s original plan was to bring Lesnar back at Raw after MITB. The promotion never scheduled Lesnar for Money in the Bank premium live event in the first place. “A tenured member of the WWE creative team” told Ringsidenews about this.
We are told that Brock Lesnar was "never scheduled for Money in the Bank."
It was also stressed to us that, "anyone who reports that is making up news or getting news from a source that has no credibility or true inside knowledge."

This tweet from the Ringsidenews’ founder completely debunks the report that was released a few days ago, which stated Lesnar couldn’t return at MITB because of Cena. As per the new report, Cena had no hand in Lesnar’s MITB absence whatsoever.

WWE planned for Brock Lesnar to return at Baltimore’s Raw all along
Recently, WRKD Wrestling reported WWE had planned to bring ‘The Conqueror’ out at MITB as a surprise entry. But because of Cena and a few other surprise entries like Drew McIntyre, it forced the Stamford-based promotion to change plans last moment. Hence, London didn’t get to see Lesnar at the premium live event in the O2 arena.
According to the report, WWE felt that ‘The Champ’ and McIntyre’s return would lessen the impact on the audience. Thus robbing them of a wow moment. Therefore, they decided not to bring Lesnar to the event. Since Ringsidenews has clearly stated that this was not the case, it means the report from WRKD Wrestling may lack credibility.
