The Undertaker is a legendary wrestler who has done everything in the wrestling industry. The iconic wrestler has been making appearances in the ring for over 30 years while maintaining the cold-blooded persona of a dead man.

This dedication to the wrestling industry is the reason many up-and-coming wrestlers dream of sharing the wrestling ring with the Deadman at least once in their life.

The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre is no exception to this as he took to Twitter to express his desire to battle the Phenom.

The WWE Champion tweeted this in a twitter thread:

In the tweet, the Scottish Psychopath states that he has some unfinished business, but what caused speculation and intrigue among fans was the BT Sport interview clip Drew had in the tweet.

McIntyre said this about the Undertaker in the interview:

When I was 24 I was told by Vince McMahon, ‘You know you don’t listen to anybody but the Undertaker. He’s gonna be like your mentor and whenever you got a question you go straight to him.’ And the inevitable goal was to have a big match between him and I.

“Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready at the time. Things worked out the way they worked out. And I believe that led to instead of myself and Undertaker to Shawn Michaels and Undertaker.”

He further added, “A lot of time passed and eventually I got the opportunity to have the tag match with myself and Shane McMahon versus Undertaker and Roman. After the Goldberg match and our goal was to make sure we gave him a match he deserves and everybody worked their butt off. And you’ve got someone like a Shane and a Roman and an Undertaker in there.

“You know no matter what it’s gonna go well, but it went extra well and he was moving around great. He was very happy after the fight and I think I might have dropped in a conversation about it was a certain match I was promised ten years ago.”

He ended the conversation by stating that he had a list of things to do. Winning the WWE Championship was number one and the match with Undertaker is also up there. He wants it to happen before the Undertaker rides off into the sunset and retires.

Undertaker vs Drew McIntyre in the future?

The Undertaker might be a mythical man in the WWE, but in reality the man is getting old. On the other hand, Drew’s push has just started and WWE is interested in having a long-term reign for him.

This is a perfect scenario for their wrestling match. The Deadman just like other wrestlers believes in the unwritten rules of the industry. One of them is that the older wrestlers lose and put the newer guys over.

The Deadman could face Drew McIntyre at the Survivor Series because that is where the Deadman debuted 30 years ago. He could have a ‘passing the torch moment’ with McIntyre just like he did with Roman Reigns.

No one knows what the WWE has planned for the future. All that the fans can do is wait for the clash between these titans.
