Jimmy Donaldson known by his screen name MrBeast is the current top dog of YouTube. The American has managed to reach a level that very few could have ever imagined. With his over-the-top videos, making content the scope of which had never been seen on the platform. Donaldson’s influence has reached a level where Jimmy has accrued the courage to challenge a whole American State. 

On April 4th Gover of North Carolina, USA, Roy Cooper commented on the booming film and entertainment industry in the state. In a recent report, it was revealed that Film and Television productions had spent over $258 million in North Carolina last year. A number ‘impressive’ according to the public, until MrBeast joined the scene. 

MrBeast challenges North Carolina

After the reveal of the last year’s stats of the N.C. film and production industry, Governor Roy Cooper said, “No better place to film than North Carolina. This industry is creating good jobs and showcasing all that our state has to offer.” appreciating the booming business in the state and the opportunities that it is making for the people. 

However, according to the YouTube megastar, this is not enough. MrBeast shared that the number is very low. He alone invests much more on his videos. “Why is the number so low? I’m gonna be spending more then that on my YouTube videos alone haha” said the eccentric Philanthropist YouTuber.

This claim may seem outrageous initially, but looking at the scope and the size of Jimmy’s content, it may not be just big talk. In his videos, Jimmy has made entire chocolate factories, hired celebrities; given away islands, private jets, and much more. His content production costs are almost on par with big-budget Hollywood movies. 

In an interview with Boss Hunting, Jimmy previously spent $65 million every year for his videos. “I only want money so I can make better videos, so I can grow my channel… I don’t care about making money, I don’t care about time, I just want to make the best videos on the planet.” Said MrBeast. 

But this number must have increased significantly which is why Jimmy could easily claim that he can surpass N.C. state’s film and production industry’s revenues and make videos that would cost way more than $258 million.

Fans were left baffled by MrBeast

After revealing the scope of his upcoming video, fans were simply flabbergasted. Some theme even poked at Jimmy by saying he has been “flexing” quite a lot lately.
