Call of Duty Modern Warfare II has been out for more than six months now. Since its anticipated debut in 2022, the game has ended up giving the players tons of content in the form of weapons, modes, and also maps. However, the overall quantity of fresh, playable locations in the latest title has been underwhelming to say the least.

But the makers have been trying to add more maps to MWII since the last few seasons. And the update in Season 3 Reloaded is about to unleash another Multiplayer map for those who want something new to enjoy online matches. This map is called Alboran Hatchery. In case anyone missed keeping track of the events in Modern Warfare II’s story, the map was first seen in the Campaign. To be precise, it was featured in the famous ‘Recon By Fire’ mission where Gaz and Captain Price end up showing their sniping skills before taking down the enemies in the Alboran Hatchery area.

Talking about this map’s upcoming version for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, it’s going to focus on core 6v6 battles. It is a medium-sized map, with large cover objects to provide the chances of performing stealth.

Speaking of the factions KorTaq and SpecGru, then the players from both the teams will receive dedicated spawn points upon the beginning of a game. For KorTaq, the spawn point will be on the north side, at the Loading Area. On the other hand, SpecGru members will spawn on the southern side, towards the Shipping Area.

These are the four main sections in which Alboran Hatchery is divided in Modern Warfare II:

• Fishery Warehouse
• Containers
• Main Entrance
• Storage Building

For the purpose of peeking, in order to get crucial intel, players can use the multiple options to climb in this map. There are tanks and center trucks for taking a look at the enemy team’s position. Moreover, players can even use Recon Drone Field Upgrade to better scan the area for getting the exact location of the opponents.

Also, using specific perks for a certain situation will be ideal in this map. That’s because the fights keep changing from close to mid-range, and long range in the hatchery. For example, players can use the Overkill and Fast Hand Perks to spawn in with. Then they can quickly switch between their two primary weapons, catering to different styles.

Then there’s the Spotter Perk as well which can be used to know about an enemy who might be hiding behind a tank or any other container. Spotter Perk helps in gathering intel about an enemy equipment, Field Upgrades, or streaks through walls.

Activision’s Modern Warfare II is now available across the globe on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X\S, Xbox One, and PC. Season 3 Reloaded update releases on May 10th, 2023.
