In March 2020, Activision released its own battle royale game as a part of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Despite competing with big names like Fortnite and Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone has been a tremendous success. However, certain bugs and glitches have haunted the players and the developers repeatedly.

What is the subway tunnel glitch in Call of Duty Warzone?

Joe and Jamison from DefendTheHouse came across an interesting tweet from @ImNeverCreative that said, “If you go into the Verdansk Subway systems in Warzone rumble, you can actually go right past the fog and giant wall and get out of bounds.”

The YouTubers tried it several times and failed until their latest attempt. In the Barakett Promenade East region of the Verdansk map, they finally went past the subway lines and entered the map’s end. It is an open world where they could roam endlessly.

How does this glitch break the game?

At first glance, it seems the subway tunnel glitch does not give an unfair advantage to anyone who discovers it. However, Joe and Jamison found out they can shoot people from this open world.

As a result, many other players are also trying out this bug and getting easy kills in the region. To balance it out, the place has invisible walls and players get stuck there and the gas kills them, eventually. But, in the meantime, they can ruin the experience of several other players.

This is not the first time that the community has explored such a glitch in Call of Duty Warzone. In the previous month, a lot of players were misusing an infinite stims glitch, and it made the game unplayable. The latest subway tunnel glitch, if exploited, could cause a similar situation for the developers.

Call of Duty Warzone is certainly one of the best battle royale games, however, such glitches and bugs might affect the game’s growth significantly. Players will hope that the developers take quick action to avoid such bugs and hackers too.
