How can 3D lobbies benefit Fortnite?

Being able to see your characters in real-time and place your favorite skins in the lobby might make the main menu exciting once again. Right now, the game only offers simple lobbies with not much to them. Gamers are limited in terms of what they can do, which makes things seem really dull.
