As Fortnite moves closer to the end of Chapter 2 Season 7, the last patch of v17.50 comes to the battle royale from “the outer space”. From the details of the update and events to Marvel’s all-time favorite Spiderman and, of course, more new skins; here is what you can expect from the latest version of Fortnite before Season 8 makes its way to the island.

Fortnite: Everything the new update offers
The servers went down earlier today, disabling matchmaking, for preparations for the new update according to the official Twitter account. And after about 5 hours of downtime, the latest update went live.
Downtime for v17.50 has ended.

According to ShiinaBR, a trusted source when it comes to Fortnite, players can expect Shang Chi to make his way on the island. Along with the Marvel Superhero, POI Corny Complex might be abducted, “back to school” event files, and new skins too. But TheCampingRusher believes Corny Complex won’t be part of the deal since the Mothership still has some distance to travel.

In addition to all the new content, Epic Games also decided to restore and recreate the “discover” tab. The second version has many people talking about it since the creative mode gives chances to people to showcase their ideas in-game.
There will also be an upcoming bundle, “Sweet Legends” which does not have a release date yet but will bring the fan-favorite Fishstick in its own version, according to HYPEX.

TheCampingRusher also talks about a possible Fortnite x Spiderman crossover with the latter’s movie come to theaters soon. Spiderman: No Way Home is one of the most viewed trailers in history and it is impossible for fans to believe that he will not be hopping on in the island anytime soon. The mentioned YouTuber firmly believes that the crawler will be in the game soon courtesy of Disney and Epic Games’ good relations.
Unfortunately, the Cyborg crossover will not be a part of this update. We can only hope this does not happen to any of the other favorite characters. What are your thoughts on the new patch?
