Karl and Astrid Johansen, the father-daughter duo, will be two of the main protagonists. They are both caught up in their past and must strive to save their children from inheriting a disturbing legacy. While horrific visions plague Karl, Astrid looks to mitigate her self-doubts about mental sanity. Toby Cirelli, the well-known drunkard, looks for revenge for those who have pushed him down the path he is on now.

Finally, Xavier Candless is a popular face among the community, who gets questioned about his cause after the town is thrown into a spiral by a mysterious incident.
