Imane Anys, popularly known as Pokimane, is one of the biggest streamers on Twitch. She has over 9.2 million people following her on the streaming platform. She has become extremely successful with this job, but it also brought a lot of stress into her life. So, like every other person, Poki also went on a long break.

Pokimane explains her long break
The Moroccan-Canadian has finally returned in front of the screen as she recently did a stream with Valkyrae, Fuslie, and kkatamina. Further, she uploaded a video on her YouTube channel titled, “why i took a break + what’s next for me.” Here she explained everything about her break and how it impacted her. Further, she also talked about what’s coming after this big break.

Pokimane explained about the feeling that forced her to take this long break, “I’ve played almost every large trendy game, and I hope it doesn’t sound big-headed of me to say, but nowadays, when I see things on Twitch, it kind of feels like been there, done that. Like I’m not really excited or passionate about much aside from like generally chatting and connecting with people.”

The 26-year-old further expressed that she likes to chat over streaming video games and her opinion on streaming these days. Poki continued, “I’ve been enjoying gaming more off-stream than on-stream, like just playing switch games and enjoying it the same way that I did when I was young, like 10 or 8 or fourteen, prior to it being like my job. But all in all, it feels like I just don’t really wanna participate in the rat race that is streaming, to be honest.”

Will Poki stream every day like in the past?
The Twitch streamer explained that she didn’t want to be part of this rat race. So, there is a possibility that she might not stream eight hours a day regularly. Even if she streams daily, she might do chilling with chat kind streams more than video game ones.
