The Walking Dead TV series has dominated the market since 2010. While the main TV series has come to an end, it spawned multiple spin-off series too. Building upon the success of the series, a new video game based on The Walking Dead is arriving soon.

The Walking Dead game inspired by the series announced
GameMill Entertainment and AMC have partnered up to bring The Walking Dead: Destinies. The game will reportedly follow the event of the TV Series from season one to season 4. Furthermore, the developers have given players a chance to reshape the story according to themselves. According to GameMill Entertainment, players can “weave their own path through series events”.

This means players will be able to play out the storyline according to their choice. The game is a third-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game with characters from The Walking Dead universe making constant appearances.
The list of confirmed characters includes Shane, Michonne, Carol, Daryl, and Rick Grimes, with many more to be announced. Furthermore, each character will have a unique set of abilities that will help reshape the storyline.

The player will start off as Rick Grimes, following the events of the first season. Multiple iconic locations like the Greene farm, the prison, Woodbury, and Atlanta are reportedly making an appearance in the game.

Building upon the creative freedom given to players, they will be able to decide who lives or dies in-game. However, their choices will lead to changes in the storyline as they progress through the game.
The resources in the game, however, will be limited and players would need to manage their ammo and weapons. The game is currently in development for all major platforms including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
