Furthermore, as pre-orders for the game begins, fans are rushing to purchase this latest project from the creators of Elden Ring.

One of the factors of the hype created by this title is that the sixth installment is coming almost a decade after its previous installment. FromSoftware started focusing more on new series like Dark Souls and Elden Ring after the release of Armored Core V. Now fans have started reminiscing about the days of them playing the previous installments of this game. And some interesting tidbits have popped up on Twitter.

Interesting ways to play Armored Core have popped up on the internet
In a Tweet shared by Okami Games, it was shown how earlier players held their controllers while playing Armored Core titles. Okami Games shared images of people holding their PlayStation controllers flipped backward. Surprisingly, many fans have found this technique of holding very comfortable.

This technique arguably makes the keys more accessible to the fingers. The usual way controllers are held forces players to move their thumb and index finger more as compared to other fingers. In this old method, the controller was equally accessible by all fingers. But the comfort factor while playing this way decreases rapidly.

The method was for Armored Core V/VD. Its so you can use both joysticks and have access to all the face buttons at the same time. There were a couple face buttons that were tied to movement and playing normally made them hard to reach if you were also looking around with R analog
