May Daniel Ricciardo have a “fruity” season ahead

Daniel Ricciardo is not having the best of time with McLaren. The British team struggles heavily due to several issues with the car. It has been a nightmare start for Daniel, who first missed out on the preseason testing because of contracting covid and later struggled in the car. Just when Ricciardo gained some pace in the car, MCL-36 fired back and the Australian couldn’t even finish his last race in Jeddah.

Now that Daniel lands in Australia, his home ground, we wish for a miraculous return. However, the Aussie’s wine is currently making more news than he himself is. Pairing up with St. Hugo, a well-known wine brand in Australia, the driver came up with his own line. Called “DR3 II”, they released the wine last year. The Decanter is very stylishly shaped like Daniel’s shoe to represent his iconic “Shoey” celebration on the podium.

Give Daniel his reds

The McLaren driver is known to be a wine connoisseur and loves his reds. Daniel has previously stated how he grew up around wines and loves the process behind making them. Well, he has now joined the likes of Conor McGregor (Irish Whiskey) and LeBron James (Tequila) who also have their very own brands.

Previously speaking about his new line, Daniel enthusiastically revealed, “I’m quite a curious kid, I always love learning things, and wine is a true craft, and I want to get in and get my hands dirty and make really spectacular wine that provides a unique perspective on what fine wine is.”
