Daniel Ricciardo Rates His F1 Season Out of 10 in Comparison to Lando Norris

Daniel Ricciardo has been struggling to adjust in McLaren. He has not completely settled into his new team and only shown glimpses of his previous form.
The Australian has also recognized his struggles this season and gave himself a rating. He admitted that on a scale of 10, his season has been a 5.
He has also recognized that he will not win 5 titles in F1 because of his age. But he stated the belief that he would like to win one, and he believes he can win the title with the Woking-based team. He also stated that he would improve till the end of the season in December.

According to GrandPX.news, The popular Aussie driver stated the season has not been smooth sailing, and he thinks he will continue to improve till the last race of the season.
“I beat Lando in qualifying in Bahrain, which is funny because when I look back at that I think ‘oh, that’s a 10’,” said Ricciardo.

“I mean, I did tell McLaren that I would be half a second faster, but when it comes to the team spirit and the atmosphere here, I’m very, very happy. We just have to do our thing on the track and get the stopwatch to work. I think I just have to drive better in the position we’re in at the moment.” said Ricciardo.
“At the same time, we don’t want me to lose what put me here in the first place. When you have a clear head, the lap times come. Obviously, I’d like to set the fireworks off now, but we know that time is on our side to get it done,” added Ricciardo.

Daniel Ricciardo is 31 and possibly in the prime of his career. His time in F1 has been exciting yet slightly underwhelming. He certainly has the talent and skill level to become a world champion.
But has not challenged for the title because of his inconsistency and unreliable car in his Red Bull days.

His move to McLaren looks like the best option for the Aussie to challenge for the world championship. McLaren is a team that is on the up and up and looks like they will become the top team soon.
