Lewis Hamilton is the odds-on favorite to secure his record-breaking eighth World Championship in 2021. He has many admirers, chief among them Red Bull boss Christian Horner.
Horner is impressed by Hamilton’s achievements and is hoping that his team can stop Hamilton in his tracks. The Austrian team finished in second behind Mercedes in the 2020 Constructor’s Championship.
Their ace driver, Max Verstappen, was a distant third behind both the Mercedes’ of No. 77 and Valtteri Bottas. The lack of consistent performances from their second driver, Alex Albon, and having a slow start has contributed to Red Bull not being a legitimate challenger.

Red Bull have tried to address that by signing Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez to the team. They are hoping this will give them ample chance to rack up race wins and podium finishes.

They are hoping to take advantage of the new aerodynamic regulations, which may help them gain an advantage in clawing back whatever ground ceded to Mercedes.
