No matter where you start off, once to get to Formula 1, life is always king-size. For many of the drivers on the grid today, the life that F1 has afforded them would’ve been a dream come true. Even the least-paid driver is on insane amounts of money every year, and that’s even before we have calculated the other streams of revenue that the sport opens up for them. Then would drivers push their luck to violate their golden contracts? Well, Lando Norris definitely would!
While their contracts do give them eye-watering payouts, it does tend to take a lot away from them, too. For instance, drivers, for obvious reasons, aren’t allowed to partake in ‘dangerous’ activities like adventure sports, etc. But within this definition of the prohibited activities falls one particular affinity of the Brit that he shares with his fellow rival, Max Verstappen.

Last year, the Dutch lion was quoted as expressing his willingness to ‘break a leg’ in the off-season as he tried his hands at two wheels instead of four, given his love for MotoGP. As it turns out, Norris has a feel for that sport, too.
Norris: “I want to do it myself, I would just have to not tell anyone I was doing it! 100 per cent I would have a go, but I’d not go straight to #MotoGP That would be the end of me.
Thing is, every corner you could get hit. It’s insane, it gets quicker every time I come back.”

Max Verstappen’s wild Red Bull free pass
If Verstappen’s life and limbs are an asset to the Bulls, meeting sponsor, and media requirements are the gold standard. That’s exactly why the Dutch lion was given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn the crazy and dangerous art of drifting firsthand from “Mad” Mike Whiddett.
