An impressive race for Fernando Alonso
Alonso started the Dutch GP in P9, having had an average qualifying session on Saturday. While this was the first incident-free start after a long time, there was a little tension between Russell and Alonso. Fernando pushed his Alpine ahead of the Williams, narrowly avoiding contact on turn 2. Nonetheless, the move brought the Spaniard up two positions to seventh.
