However, this defeat did not put a stop to the two legends in question. The project, however, is still in its early stages. Therefore, not a lot has been revealed so far.

Lewis Hamilton is not the only F1 man to be part of the investors circle in this futuristic golf project. McLaren’s Lando Norris, Williams’ Alex Albon and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz are also said to be a part of the investment pool.

The project’s first virtual golf tour is set to be scheduled for the year 2024. The CEO of the company, Mike McCarley, shared insights on the project in a recent interview.

He said, “You know, a lot of these athletes have really embraced technology, the way in which they train and prepare and that sort of thing. There was a consensus around a clear vision for how technology can really help make sports more accessible and culturally relevant to new groups of fans and I think in particular kids and families.”

Lewis Hamilton has always shown admiration for people of sports that have made a mark. Tennis star, Serena Williams, is one of the people that have inspired him to achieve his own dreams.
