Following the Hungarian Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel were asked about Fernando Alonso. To be precise, rumours surrounding a potential return for the Spaniard. Vettel initially suggested that the Spaniard “never really liked me”. Now though, the double world champion has responded and refuted the comments

While it was true that during Red Bull’s dominating days, he and the German were rivals, Alonso finished as the runner-up twice. Since then, it has been suggested that the veteran does not rate Vettel’s achievements as highly, owing to a superior car.

“I don’t mind. I don’t know why… I don’t think he never really liked me,” Vettel admitted. “I don’t think we really had a… I don’t mind him.”
