

Tommy Fury’s former opponent and the sparring partner of Jake Paul, Anthony Taylor, claimed the younger Fury brother is in a big dilemma. The Love Island star believed that he would be disowned by his family if he lost a fight against his heated rival.

In an interview with Vegas Insider, Taylor put forth the picture from behind the scenes. Though he claimed that Fury was not afraid of ‘The Problem Child’, he did not want to create a mess with his family.

He told, “Tommy is in over his head. He’s not afraid to fight Jake Paul, but he’s also not motivated because knows the outcome. And he knows the consequences of losing.”
“If he loses, he loses sponsorships, he’ll be disowned from his boxing family- why go through the headache? He’s not scared, there are just a lot of circumstances behind it, ” he added further.

Next, he talked about Paul’s opponent, who replaced Tommy Fury for the highly anticipated contest on August 6.

What did Taylor say about Jake Paul’s next opponent?
The Ohio-based boxer was most likely to meet Tommy Fury in Madison Square Garden, New York. Unfortunately, the USA blocked Fury from entering their country. However, this was not the first time Fury and Paul could not materialize the contest. Earlier, they were set to trade leather in December 2021. At that time, Fury pulled out of the bout because of injury.
