Among all the side quests you can explore in the game, a good reading habit might be one of the easiest hacks to progress your statistics in the game.  “Maybe I’m late on this but I’m level 66 and just figured out that some of the magazines in the game give you permanent increase your stats”, a Reddit user upon discovering the hack wrote to their post.

The magazine interaction feature follows a simple principle of perks count in reference to a player’s collection. 

• Each Magazine group has its own Perk pool
• There are a total of 115 Magazine perks to collect
• There are a total of 115 Magazines to collect
• The Perk pools are set and have a predetermined order they unlock, except Magazines with recipes – those are tied to exact Magazine issue numbers
• It doesn’t matter the order you pick up the Magazine, the perks will unlock in the same order, except Magazines with recipes – those are tied to exact Magazine issue numbers

• After picking up enough Magazines to exhaust all the perks for its respective Perk pool there isn’t a reason to continue to collect them.
• Magazine perks do carry over to NG+
