After a successful round, Stark sat with the press conference to discuss her game. She talked about how she played better than yesterday. Even though she stayed longer on course today, the Swedish is satisfied with her round.
In the midst of all her game strategies and her experience with the golf course, the reporter informed her that many fans watched her game in the Solheim Cup. Additionally, he noted that the majority of the top players are not European. Does she have any candidates in mind for the top European player of the future?
Stark responded by saying that Europe is home to many talented golfers. But in her opinion, her native country star and her Solheim Cup teammate, Linn Grant, stick out the most. ”I mean, Linn Grant would probably also be one. I would say she’s the next,” said Stark. ”Linn Grant. I feel like, well, she’s better ranked than me. We’re the same age. I think people would say she’s the next top player for Europe, but I’m trying to catch her.”
