Jon Rahm‘s supposed deal with LIV Golf has gained a lot of traction from the golfing world. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, many speculations have made their way into the news in the golfing community. And in the midst of it all is none other than Phil Mickelson, who seems to have been dragged into the fray, albeit without his knowledge.

The veteran golfer was accused of leaking information regarding the Spaniard’s deal by his nemesis, the controversial author. However, he decided to not stay mute on the matter as the American came out to reveal his side of the truth, surprising many!

Phil Mickelson reveals the truth about the Jon Rahm-LIV Golf deal

The 53-year-old was accused by none other than Alan Shipnuck of leaking details about the deal between the Saudi-backed league and the Spanish golfer. However, the 45X PGA Tour pro decided to reveal his side of the story on Twitter.

He uploaded a post on his social media handle regarding the same mentioning how the whole accusation “isn’t true” and he doesn’t “know anything.” Adding on, the golfer pointed out how “Alan is the worst liar and a pathetic human,” all the while divulging how he doesn’t want to know anything or hasn’t talked about the same.

The 6X major winner was spotted replying to a tweet by NUCLR GOLF. The post uploaded by the page talks about how, as per Shipnuck, Mickelson had been letting people know how the Spanish pro would be “signing on with LIV Golf” which evoked a furious reply from ‘Lefty’.

All of this started with the writer accusing the LIV golfer of leaking details, all the while accusing him of being a “relentless salesman.” And one would think that with the athlete’s reply, everything would come to an end. However, it was not the case as the author took to his social media again to take a jab at the golfer.

Shipnuck claps back at Mickelson with a reply

The 50-year-old did not take the American pro’s jab lying down as he decided to post another tweet against his nemesis. Shipnuck started off with a question, “I guess Phil tweeted at me?” all the while pointing out how he would not know since the 11X DP World Tour winner had blocked him on Twitter, dubbing it a “classic tough-guy move.”

Adding on, the author decided to continue with his dig at the LIV athlete as he accused the golfer of being double-faced. He did so by stating how everyone knows that “what he(Mickelson) says publicly and privately are *very* different” referring to Mickelson’s past comments.
