It is not a secret that Michael Jordan is one of the best friends of Tiger Woods. The duo met each other through their common sponsor, Nike. Notably, the lawyer of the golfer had advised him not to be close with the NBA star before they got to know each other as he feared MJ would use Woods for his needs.
However, Woods didn’t listen to that advice and developed a brotherly relationship with Micheal Jordan. In fact, MJ had even attended the golfer’s wedding in 2004, when he got married to Elin Nordegren, which shows how much they want to include each other even in their personal lives.

“I think we have a mutual understanding,” Woods said about MJ in an interview with CNN. According to him, the two were successful in creating a “natural bond” as they have faced similar experiences as professional athletes and the best in their sports.
“Without even having to speak because we know we’ve both been there,” he further added. “I’m living it, he’s living it, he’s living it now, he’s back into it now. So, I think it’s that natural bond of knowing what it takes.”
