In the last few years, she’s captured many titles, including her maiden LPGA Tour victory at the Chevron Championship at Mission Hills Country Club last year. Her achievements are no joke, but perhaps they would have never been possible without constant support and encouragement. Fortunately for Kupcho, she gets plenty of that from her husband, Jay Monahan.

Meet Jennifer Kupcho’s husband, who is not the PGA Tour Chief
Jennifer Kupcho’s husband is Jay Monahan. No, not the commissioner of the PGA Tour, but his namesake! Monahan was a one-time professional golfer and is now serving as an LPGA caddie. The couple first met at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club in Phoenix, Arizona. The caddie was working there, while Kupcho, a club member, was visiting the course.
They immediately clicked and soon began dating. After dating for a year and a half, they finally decided to settle down permanently, and in August 2021, Monahan proposed to Jennifer in a very dreamy way. He popped the question to the golf pro in a lovely restaurant by serving a dessert bearing the words, “Will you marry me?” Soon after saying yes, Jennifer Kupcho took to her Instagram to announce that she was finally married.

The sport that brought them together played a huge role in their wedding celebrations too. The duo tied the knot in February of last year when they exchanged vows on a golf course in Arizona. Moreover, they also posed while swinging clubs at the course for some memorable wedding day photos.

The pair doesn’t currently have any children, and they currently spend more time together, concentrating on their jobs, and enjoying their comfortable lives in Arizona as newlyweds. Not only is their chemistry as a couple astonishing, but they are supportive of each other on the course as well!
Meet Monahan the caddie
Monahan is a very private person who rarely divulges information about his private life. But he’s always seen cheering for his cherished wife while she’s out on the course. Kupcho won her first major championship at the Chevron Championship the previous year, and her husband’s encouragement motivated her to triumph. She worked extra hard to improve her putting during championship practice because, while the driver has always been a strength of hers, the putter has been seen as a weakness.

It was her husband, Monahan, who gave her putting lessons and was her coach during that time. But in the tournament, he was caddying for American Sarah Schmelzel. After her historic win at the Chevron Championship, both couples leaped into Poppie’s Pond along with her caddie from the event, David Eller.
Currently, Monahan caddies for Allisen Corpuz. Even though they are not together at the course, outside the course, they both have amazing chemistry. They both go on adventures and hikes.
