It has been an interesting first half of the MLB season. The world has witnessed many fierce battles and close encounters on the field that added more to the fun. But now, all eyes are on the All-Star game slated for July 11, 2023. The convergence of all the renowned players on a single team promises an extraordinary game to contend for ultimate pride. The Home Run Derby, a yearly home run hitting competition, traditionally takes place on the day preceding the MLB All-Star Game. It is a unique concept in which the batter has to hit a ball out of the park without opposition making any effort to make him out. Also, the pitcher pitches the ball slowly from a closer range than in a normal baseball game, and the batter does not run for scoring. It requires more power and hits to make it count. Betts was always skeptical about it. But this time, he has to do it upon a request from his wife.
