YouTuber turned boxer Logan Paul is gearing up to face legendary boxer, Floyd Mayweather, on June 6 next month. The exhibition bout will be a chance for Paul to make a huge statement after his brother Jake did the same last year with a first-round KO win over Ben Askren.
Even though he has started his combat sports career in boxing, Paul believes he has something in him to make a career in MMA too.

In an interview, the YouTuber turned boxer talked about his brief MMA history and why he wants to apply his trade once in MMA.
“Yeah absolutely. I actually think I’d probably be better at MMA because of my wrestling background,” he said.
“I will say it’s a tough sport. It’s harder than boxing. MMA fighters are legitimate, all around, 360-degree fighters. I’ve had some knee issues on both knees and it’s rough on the body.”
Paul then said he will at least fight once in MMA. “But I can’t not do at least one MMA fight before I die, at least one. If I win, I’d probably do another.”
Paul then talked about his rivalry with MMA fighter Dillon Danis. He said there was no such rivalry with Danis and termed it as ‘cute’. He further mentioned that his brother Jake had offered Dillon a fight, but the latter declined so the former had to face Ben Askren instead.
Both the brothers have called out many prominent names of the MMA world over social media platforms since turning pro in boxing. Fighters like Kamaru Usman, Conor McGregor, and many others have had exchanges with them on Twitter.

“Anything can happen,” he said. “Mentally, I prepare for the best and I prepare for the worst. For those people telling me that it’s impossible, you’d be lying if you said there wasn’t a chance that I could beat him.

“So yeah, I think I’m going to go in there and decapitate him in the first round. If it doesn’t happen, we’ll go for the second and then the third, and the fourth, who knows it could go the distance but it’s going to be a f**king show, regardless.”

A win over Mayweather could escalate Paul’s name in the combat sports world, but it’s easier said than done. There’s a reason Mayweather is unbeaten, and it’s likely that he would come out on top.
