YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul is progressively taking on tougher opponents in a bid to legitimize himself as a boxer. ‘The Problem Child’ first started his boxing career with a win over ‘Deji’ in August 2018.
Just three years on from that fight, Paul is headlining a card against a former UFC champion on a Showtime PPV event. In his ascension to the top, Jake Paul took on former ONE FC welterweight champion and renowned collegiate wrestler, Ben Askren. The fight did not last very long as Paul absolutely annihilated Askren with a right hand and closed the show early.
‘Funky’ continued, “If he’s able to beat Tyron, I will probably feel much better about what happened to me, because I’ll think damn, Tyron’s really good. I think that’s probably unlikely, but in that case, that’s probably what I’d think.”(h/t middleeasy.com)

However, in his recent fights, Woodley has been extremely gun shy. Against Paul, being gun shy might land him in the same spot as his friend Ben Askren.
For Woodley to be effective against Paul, he will have to come out from the very first bell and be assertive. If ‘The Chosen One’ is able to land a few clean right hands, it will surely make Paul more cautious going forward, which will work to Woodley’s advantage.
