Japanese World No. 3 Naomi Osaka continues to extend her tennis success to varied branches outside of the sport. But her newest collaboration is indeed one that stands out from the rest. Apart from her three Grand Slams, the 23-year-old will now be known as the global brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton.
The French luxury brand has already appointed Naomi as the face of their 2021 spring campaign. Given her exemplary skill set and her ownership of the court, the decision was very easy for LV. Nicolas Ghesquiere, creative director of the company, has photographed the Japanese star for the campaign.

Before joining hands with the most valuable luxury brand in the world, Naomi touched many other bases. From debuting in manga comics to launching an exclusive apparel-line with Nike, the former World No. 1 had a wonderful 2020. She even signed a lucrative sponsorship deal with Tag Heuer.
In terms of tennis, she revived her lost form and won the US Open title last year. However, being the global brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton has its own glory.

Osaka said, “Aside from tennis, my most treasured passion is fashion; and there is no brand more iconic than Louis Vuitton. It is such an honor to work with Nicolas — he’s a designer I admire so much,” she continued. “And we share a mutual love of Japanese culture and style. To become global brand ambassador is truly a dream come true for me.”
Above all, Naomi has a rare combination of strength and grace, and that holds the weight of LV beautifully.
